David Royle restored his first car in 1956 and since then we have restored more than 850 Veteran, Vintage, Classic and Historic vehicles including 40 Rolls Royce, 44 Lagonda, 48 Austin, 47 Alvis, 39 MG and 54 Bentley motor cars. We have also rebuilt 63 Jaguars including the unique 'Inspector Morse' Mark 2.
We have undertaken prototype and development work and been involved in many interesting projects including museum commissions, conservation work, horse-drawn vehicles, kit cars and the production of new panels for historic aircraft. We have satisfied customers throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.
We carry out bodywork, upholstery and paintwork, mechanical and electrical work and have facilities for virtually every aspect of the repair, restoration and conservation of all types of historic vehicles. Due to customer demand we have expanded our facilities for servicing and mechanical work and welcome enquiries for us to carry out a health check on your treasured vehicle and prepare it for the coming season. Your car can also be MoT tested while it is with us and we can arrange highly competitive transport if required.
When repairing or restoring an original motor car we place great emphasis on retaining as many of the original features and components as possible so that the finished vehicle is a repaired original example. Originality is a priority with no compromise on quality. we are members of UKIC and are registered with the Conservation Unit of the Museums and Galleries Commission. All vehicles are insured with a major insurance company while in our care.
