How we work

Once a potential customer contacts us the project is discussed and we arrange an inspection of the vehicle. A preliminary inspection is often carried out at the customer's home but we prefer to carry out a thorough examination at our workshops where we have inspection ramps and our various specialists can assess the vehicle.

Depending on the location we may make a nominal charge for home inspections to cover travelling time and expenses but the cost is credited to the customer's account if we subsequently carry out work to the car.

We then prepare a written estimate of the possible cost involved and submit it to the customer. Once the work schedule, cost and time scale is agreed the vehicle is included in our workshop programme.

We have developed procedures to ensure that the work is planned to flow through each department with the minimum of delay or the rate of progress can be varied suit the requirements of the customer.

If complete, we can fully restore a medium sized pre-war vehicle in around ten months.
